Essentials Student Supermarket

Originally involved in the concept development for Essentials (the Union’s largest retail outlet) rebrand in 2013, I was later tasked with delivering additional signage for the store, after customer focus groups revealed navigational problems and negative attitudes towards pricing and policies.

The key piece in this refresh was a large typographic vinyl that greeted customers upon entering, communicating the store’s fundamental not-for-profit message and CSR ethics, whilst in-keeping with the brand identity and tone of voice.
